Preadator drones good or bad?

I believe predator drones pros out way there cons in many ways. Predator drones are keeping our soldiers out of harm’s way and also keeping America safer. With fewer threats the US has less and less to worry about. The predator drones enable troops to go home safe each night and see their family and never be in danger of being shot, bombed or killed. Now some people may disagree with me but everybody has the right to their own opinion.

Many people believe predator drones are violating laws by not telling Pakistan they are going into their flying areas. The human rights group Reprieve has initiated legal actions against the US on account of relatives being killed because of drone attacks. Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell has said "excessive use of military force. Causing more than, 2,200 deaths. Many people see the drones as destructive and UN necessary, like the above group and person who believe the military should stop using drones to lower the number of civilian deaths. The US may never and hasn’t in the past stopped what they’re going to do just to make a small group of people happy.

I believe that predator drones are what is keeping America safer and even better our troops who deserve to live happy long lives and stop being in fear of dyeing. Some people don’t think about all the soldiers out there risking their lives on a daily basis and how drones could make sure soldiers are safe and aren’t worrying. If the people who want to eliminate drones ever put themselves in a soldiers shoes for one day maybe then they can understand. The Taliban and enemies attacked us first remember 911 well we are just rebelling Karma's a B remember. The US is doing what is best for America and what is going to keep our citizens safe.

Syria needs help!!!!

I believe that the UN should use force and violence to enforce stabilty. Because they have tried asking for a peace treaty in the past and it didnt work. Nothings gettign better there with "10,000 syrian soliders and police officers"  having been killed already. In toatl the "syrian army has killled more than 50,000 people". The US needs to step in and help, we have one of the strongest armies in the world and we should nt just sit by and watch as thousands of people are being killed.
The US is hesitant to get involved becaus e they dont want to put there soldier in danger. Although the US have helped "libia and egypt by making a no fly zone" they ended up ending a war that ad been going on for a while. Obama doesnt want to get caught up in another "complicated war in the middle east" which is understandable but we should feel obligated to give back to the people there and help.
Syria shouldnt have to do this alone. When someone needs help they ask but i this case there more or less pleading. Youcan telll syria needs help becaus eonce you become a rebel against the country your as good as dead in there eyes. With the rersources and allies the US has we can help a tremendous amount.

2012 presidential election

In this year’s election two candidates were running Mitt Romney and our current president Barack Obama. Mitt Romney is in the Republican Party well Obama is in the Democratic Party. These two candidates had very different goals and directions for their campaign. Romney believed in higher taxes for the middle class well lower taxes for the rich. He also believes in abortion being outlawed and that insurance companies no longer pay for birth control. He said he would make jobs by given big companies tax breaks so they have more money to give people jobs. Well Obama believes in universal healthcare and that all jobs should provide healthcare. He's prochoice so abortion is still legal. Obama believes the middle class is what keeps the economy going so he wants to lower taxes for the middle class and raise taxes for the rich. These two candidates have very different views to reach out to many different people but the real question is who won and why.
The outcome was one of the closest elections ever but Mitt Romney did lose. Mitt Romney won the popular vote but not the electoral vote. He lost because he didn’t get Ohio which was a battle ground state with a lot of electoral votes and Obama did. People just didn’t have enough faith in Romney and only 20 percent of women voters voted for Romney. He also didn’t reach out to the Minorities in America making him lose those votes too.
As we all know by now Obama won the 2012 elections. The reason he won was because he got the most electoral votes meaning the battleground states all voted for him. He also got 80 percent of women voters to vote for him. This is because he wants equal pay for women and abortions he's all for women rights. He also had a lot of votes from minorities because they felt like they could relate to Obama as opposed to Romney. Obama was more for the people and less for the benefit of himself.
I believe that Obama will help America get out of debt and help raise unemployment. Even in the four years that he’s already been president he has made the economy better maybe not 100 percent but almost there. I am glad that Obama won because now America will continue going forward and not back. I believe America will be out of debt and healthcare will be universal by the end of this term. Obama has done so much good and it’s only going to go up from here.

Gun violence can be stopped

In a world where gun violence and ownership is at an all-time high is it really keeping American’s safe or killing them faster. Statistics say 40% of all guns bought are from illegal dealers so pretty much anyone these days can get a gun without a background check. I believe gun violence should be stopped and people should not be able to buy guns. In a society where there are 88.8 guns per one hundred people guns are over taking America putting the American people in danger everyday they decide to just go to the store.
Many people don't agree with my view point such as in 2011 the governor passed a law that made it ok for people to carry concealed weapons. He is gun friendly and supports it. Mitt Romney is another person who has a different point of view he believes the amendment should be upheld and not changed at all so guns can be bought freely. Even 84% of American’s don't agree with my point of view. So i am extremely outnumbered in the amount of people who believe in guns being legal.
I believe guns should be out lawed and only law enforcement should carry weapons. There are 87 gun deaths a day, which could be prevented if only law enforcement had guns. There have been so many shootings in the last 12 years that could have been avoided if people weren’t allowed to possess guns. I believe in Barack Obama because even though he thinks the amendment should be upheld he still wants assault weapons to be out lawed which would prevent murders and accidents significantly. A solution to gun violence would be not having them at all but since that probably won’t happen for a while I suggest an extensive background check and people should meet with a psychologist so they can measure if there sane enough to own a gun and also people who have a family history of behavioral disorders such as bipolar, schizophrenia, etc. should not get guns.

Global warming ruining our enviorment

Global warming is a highly debated subject because of the deteriorating environment. Many people are ignorant to global warming and just don't see the effects of it and how humans are causing it "out of sight out of mind". Many republicans say global warming isn't an issue and that fracking would be a good idea because it would help America. It all started in WW1 which was the first war run completely on petroleum. Many years’ later people realize that they are completely dependent on oil and everything needs oil to run.
Republicans oppose the view on global warming thinking that it is not an issue and does not need to be focused on as in other issues are more important. The republicans think fracking which could cause harm to our water ways releasing radiation would be a good thing so we could get natural gas and have more resources. But in my opinion we should focus more on renewable resources to use, because we will always have those but we won't always have oil, coal and natural gas. Also renewables are environment friendly so we could start preventing animals from going extinct and from the artic water from melting and causing an overall warming effect on the earth. So clearly the republicans are the ones i don't agree with at all.
My opinion is Global warming is a huge issue. America's biggest environmental harming resource is oil 37% dependent on it but oil isn't going to last forever. "Fossil fuels are in the majority" of resources used in the US today which is why our climate is changing. Oil drilling is big money and big business so if they stopped thousands of people would be out of a job which is why i feel we still drill and mine and extract it helps people with jobs. But at the same time is it really worth animals going extinct, radiation being put into our waters and harmful chemicals being put into the air we breathe?

911 in a nutshell

Many people can agree that 911 was the most terrifying, disatourous, and saddening event to every happen in America history. It mad people all over the country wonder if they were ever safe and what if they were in New York on that day. National security was in a rut and nobody knew how to react. Maybe the real issue was Bush avoiding the fact that people had told him that this was gonna happen and he did nothing about it. Maybe it was Americas poor airport security. The answer may never come to light but we can still see the after math of 911. Many people lost there relatives, firefighters lost there lives trying to protect the people of America. Planes were all cancelled all over the US until president Bush gave permission for governments officials to remove all of Bin Ladens relatives who lived in America back to Saudia Arabia. George W. Bush called for war to try and take down the group Al Queda,
Someone who would disagree with me on american safety is John Payne who believes even though  Bin LAden is dead that terrioism is still alive and will continue because Al Queda is still deadly and strong." you can't defeat a tactic" John Payne. Paul Krugman believes that 911 was ment to bring america together but Bush used it as a political high jacking to up his name and not focus on the real issues.
On 911 terrioists high jacked some planes and flew them into the twin towers in hope to reck america. America today is much more cautious the airports are much more safety oriented. But part of America is still super secret on account of national security there scared because they dont know who there fighting or how to fight them. I believe the death  of Bin Laden is amazing and a big step to taking down the terroist group Al Queda.

Super PAC'S destroying democracy?

As America's gotten older it seems our sense of togetherness and freedom of speech has been disrupted by Super PAC'S, citizens united and corporate speech. Are we really a democracy any more or just a dictatorship run by big buisness and corporations. As we all know America is in an economic disaster yet orporations are spening billions of dollars on bashing and supporting canidates in the election. Where's all the money coming from. Maybe i can explain in to you a little better but first ponder this question. Are super PAC's destroying democracy?

Some people support coorprate free speech saying its there first ammendement right. Some reasons they give are that super PAC's help level the playing field as in the money being used give some canidates who never had a chance at winning now have a chance because of the unlimited amount of money that super PAC's can use to support that canidate. They also beleieve they inform voters with the truth about canidates and what they are cabiable of and how bad the other canidates are "main function is one at the heart of democracy: Spreading information and arguments that voters may find useful in casting their votes." There last and final point is that super PAC's remind us how corrupt the system really is, saying that it shows us how the rich have power in a sense since there money is what funds the campaigns.
There is another opinion on these super PAC's though, some people are against them saying that super PAC's make it about the rich not about the people of america anymore. The super PAC's have the  power to sway a whole state one way and to vote for who they want you to. Billions of dollars are going into this election year put yet the real issues such as healthcare, job safety and unemployment are not being resolved. They say super PAC's don't care about the people they care about making money and making sure the person who they are going to support believes in what they believe in.

I personally believe super PAC's are ruining America if they really want to spend money they should spend in on fixing our roads and schools. Super PAC's are trying to sway America one way and many Americans don't see it. There are so many other issues in America right now that all that money could have been put towards something more useful like a homeless shelter or feeding family or even healthcare for the American people. Super PAC's are wasting America's money and something has to be done. America is no longer a democracy.
